Events including the Adelaide Fringe (the world's second-largest annual arts festival), WOMADelaide, and the Adelaide Festival are world-renowned. The city boasts beautiful historical architecture housing incredible galleries and museums, with the CBD surrounded by lush, green Park Lands.
Where to Study
South Australia’s higher education institutions rank on a global scale (and have produced five Nobel Prize winners!), while its Technical and Further Education (TAFE) courses have some of the highest post-graduation employment rates.
Public Transport
Known as the ‘20 minute city’, everything in Adelaide is close and easily accessible. Public transport is cheap and plentiful, with buses, trams and trains, and bike paths are marked throughout the city.
