Find Urgent Accommodation Assistance Through the International Student Support Network

The Australian Homestay Network (AHN) has just launched a new, Australia-wide program called the International Student Support Network (ISSN) to help vulnerable international students access accommodation during this time.

The ISSN provides short-term, heavily discounted homestays to eligible international students and includes a private bedroom, meals, utilities and internet access. A homestay can also provide you with friendship and support, which are essential during this time.

The ISSN is working closely with education providers, agents and industry bodies to deliver the program. International students must be referred to the service by their education provider.

Some institutions have funding available to assist with living expenses. If you require urgent accommodation and/or you are interested in ISSN homestay, please speak with your education provider to see what financial assistance is available and confirm if you are eligible for an ISSN placement.

For more information, FAQs and to apply for the ISSN program, please visit the AHN website

Insider Guides hosted an Industry Chat with David Bycroft, founder of the Australian Homestay Network, about the new ISSN service – you can check it out here.
