What if you could arrive in Australia with $1,000 already available to help you settle into life here? For 250 international students moving to the Gold Coast, this could be a reality, with the Gold Coast New Student Grants program.
Recently announced by Experience Gold Coast, these grants aim to ease the cost pressure of starting a journey in a new country and welcome new international students to the Gold Coast.
Between 11 Feburary – 30 June 2025 (subject to early closure if the quota is met), the first 250 international students who meet the following criteria and complete verification will be eligible:
- Hold a valid Student Visa (subclass 500) and enrol at an Experience Gold Coast Education Member Institution for at least 24 academic weeks (including packaged offers/multiple courses).
- Be a new student with a course commencement date between 1 May – 30 November 2025.
- Submit all required documents as per the Gold Coast New Student Grants’ conditions (view full terms and conditions here).
Domestic students, international students already enrolled at an Australian institution and international students currently residing in Australia.
