Parap Village Markets
Open throughout Darwin’s wet and dry seasons, Parap Village Markets is a foodie paradise. The morning markets offer a whole range of options, including Thai sweets, acai bowls, Cambodian cuisine, Portuguese bites, homemade crepes, hearty bowls of laksa, made-to-order smoothies and plenty more. If you consider yourself a bit of a chef, you can also pick up fresh produce like vegetables, herbs and fruits.

Nightcliff Markets
Started 30 years ago, a visit to the Nightcliff Markets is the perfect way to start your Sunday morning. Grab a takeaway coffee before exploring one of the many food stalls selling noodle soups, pastries, laksa and curries, plus fresh fruits and vegetables you can take home to cook up your own feast.

Rapid Creek Markets
The Rapid Creek Markets have been around for 50 years, so they must be doing something right! The markets are divided into the Street Food Park area for eating and relaxing, and the Fresh Produce zone for purchasing fresh fruit, vegetables, spices and other dried goods.
With a focus on Asian cuisine and produce, the laksa, Thai noodles and roti are a must-try. While you’re there, make sure to also sample hard-to-find ingredients like durian and other exotic fruits. Mindil Beach Sunset Markets
One of the few markets open during the evenings, the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets is the perfect spot to catch one of Darwin’s striking sunsets before grabbing a bite to eat during the dry season. You can expect plenty of food options, including seafood, BBQ fare, Asian-inspired cuisine, as well as desserts and drinks. The market is also home to art and craft stalls selling artisanal goods and local brands.

Palmerston Markets
Located a 15-minute drive from the heart of Darwin, eat your way through an array of sweet and savoury dishes from Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Italy, Greece and more while you're entertained with live dancers, music and DJs.
