This article is sponsored by The University of Newcastle

Beyond the classroom and libraries, cafés can be the perfect backdrop to complete assignments and revise for exams.

There’s the pleasant low hum of people coming and going, the smell of baked goods, and of course, the coffee!

With a student population of over 40,000 people, Newcastle on the east coast of Australia is home to plenty of local cafés and small businesses welcoming customers through their doors. For those looking for a change of scenery for their next revision session, we asked local experts and University of Newcastle students Percy, Aatika, Stephanie and Monil on their favourite cafés to study, eat and relax.
