Where to Study
Greater Western Sydney is home to Western Sydney University – one of Australia’s leading institutions included on all the major universities rankings. With 10 different campuses to choose from across the region, it's easy to find the perfect spot in Greater Western Sydney for you to live and study. Also, there’s no shortage of TAFE courses in Greater Western Sydney, as there are heaps of TAFE NSW campuses here, including the Blacktown, Kingswood and Miller Campuses. TAFE NSW is one of the best vocational education facilities and offers qualifications from certificates to Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels.
Public Transport
Getting to Greater Western Sydney from other parts of the city is easy. From Central Station, trains run to all the main parts of Greater Western Sydney. A direct train from Central Station in the CBD will get you to Parramatta in under 30 minutes. If you’re after a more scenic option, you can catch the ferry down the Parramatta River from Circular Quay. You’ll have about 90 minutes to sit back, relax and enjoy the sights along one of Sydney’s most beautiful waterways. Travelling around Western Sydney is easy - there are plenty of bus and train routes connecting all of the suburbs.
