The Beachfront Hotel

The Beachfront Hotel has been a staple venue in Darwin’s local live music scene for many years — even winning a Best Live Music Venue award in 2019! As well as taking in the local, live talent, you can also enjoy pub trivia, salsa dancing events, sports on the big screen, happy hours, a huge range of drinks and a full menu from their kitchen: ‘Smokey J’s Brew and Cue’. Hotel Darwin

A much loved Darwin establishment since 1940, the award-winning Hotel Darwin features live music on Friday and Saturday nights, along with other events and activities that you can get involved in, like pool competitions and meat tray raffles!

Nirvana

Nirvana is a popular Darwin restaurant that really does have it all — with a cocktail bar, private function room, and a food menu inspired by Thai, Indian and Malay flavours, it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some live music. Plus, if you feel like getting involved, head down on a Tuesday for one of their famous Jam Nights — instruments are supplied and everyone is welcome!

Shenannigans

Shenannigans aka ‘Shags’ is the place to go if you want to see live bands in Darwin! Boasting live music 6 nights of the week Tuesday—Sunday, you’ll be able to catch anyone from emerging local talent through to some of Australia’s most popular acts!

Darwin Railway Club

Originally opened for the railway workers of the Northern Territory, the Darwin Railway Club is one of Darwin’s oldest pubs. With free pool tables and a mouthwatering menu, the club offers activities like trivia nights, markets and of course — live music. From jazz and blues sets by local musicians, right through to performances from big names in Australian music, the Darwin Railway Club has something for everyone. Darwin Amphitheatre

Nestled within the beautiful George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens, the Darwin Amphitheatre can hold up to 7000 people and is one of the city’s most beloved outdoor venues. Here, you will find some of Darwin’s most iconic annual events and a full program of exciting touring musicians and Australian icons.

Darwin Entertainment Centre

At the Darwin Entertainment Centre, you can find anything from small theatre productions, full-scale musicals and dance, to some of the biggest concerts in Darwin!
