The City of Sydney has partnered with OzHarvest, the NSW Government, nib Health Funds and Mirvac to support international students and temporary visa holders during the challenging times as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, they have launched the OzHarvest Hamper Hub to provide free food relief hampers and frozen cooked meals to international students and temporary visa holders at various pop-up locations around Sydney.

If you want to pick up a food hamper or frozen cooked meal, you simply need to contact your education provider. They’ll give you a registration link and code so you can access the initiative. If your education provider is not registered, you can contact the Community Hotline on 9265 9333 to register or visit this link.

Just note that numbers are limited to one hamper per household. On the day, simply bring along your student ID card and a digital or printed copy of your registration email.

The OzHarvest Hamper Hub for International Students will be open on Thursdays from Thursday 28 May, 12-4pm, at the following locations:

Harbourside Shopping Centre Level 1, Shop 241 (opposite Pancakes on the Rocks), Darling Harbour – near the Maritime Museum exit

Rhodes Shopping Centre, 1 Rider Boulevard, Rhodes (in the former Lovisa space, Shop 18)
