Annual Wage increase for hospitality awards
Following the Annual Wage Review 2022, the Fair Work Commission (FWC) announced
- A $40 per week increase to the National Minimum Wage (NMW) for employees who are 21 years of age or over, with the new NMW set at $21.38 per hour for a full or part-time worker and $26.73 for a casual.
- Modern award adult minimum wages above $869.60 per week will receive a 4.6% increase, with wages below this receiving a $40 per week increase.
Importantly, for those employed under the Hospitality and Restaurant Awards, these pay increases will occur from 1 October 2022.

New annualised wage arrangements
