Shiyuan Yin | China | Email hidden; Javascript is required. | Dear officer, I am an international student who is in her final semester of a two-year master's program (#32 units) at the University of Queensland (UQ). I am now in Australia. UQ allows me to reduce study workload and study part-time while studying online as an international student because of Covid19 pandemic. Please see -> https://support.my.uq.edu.au/app/answers/detail/a_id/1924/related/1 By doing so, I need to extend another semester to complete the rest of the two courses. UQ agreed to issue me a new CoE by which I can apply for a new student visa before the expiration day of my current student visa. In that case, I will be graduating in July 2021 instead of the end of this year. But I have two questions and want to hear your advice/suggestions. 1. Whether studying part-time will impact my working limit under a student visa (subclass 500)? Can I still work up to 40hrs per fortnight in this case? Could you please reply to me as soon as you can? I am looking forward to it. Thank you very much! Best regards, |
