For any reason if a student can't score a good result in Class 10 but does very good in Class 12 and in any English Proficiency test or in any amplitude test so does the student have a chance for applying for a scholarship or financial aid?

Hi there,

I have previously submitted an email, but will also submit here as well.

My name is Kacey Mongeon, I am from the US and I am currently in the process of applying for university and an international student visa. As I have met my partner over there (who is an Australian citizen), I will be living with him as I study. We are working with a migration agent who hasn't given us an exact answer as to if I will be able to travel once I am accepted due to Covid-19. I came across this page and am looking for any advice as to whether it is worth continuing to apply.

The fee for applying and paying the visa is fairly expensive, so we want to know if it'll be a possibility for me to still study in Australia with the current circumstances. I have recently sent in my application at USC Queensland and as soon as I get the response, will be lodging my visa application. Any advice as to whether it will be possible to still study abroad is greatly appreciated. Ideally, I will be starting my studies in January 2021.

Regards,
Kacey M

Hi There,

In this time of uncertainty, the international students who planned their studies in Australia are on the verge of their career's downfall.
As universities in all states except Victoria are open and study came back to routine.
While those students who are still waiting for their visas are in extreme depression, embassies are wasting student's precious time, money, and efforts.
As I have secured admission in MGSM in MBA and deferring my studies to the next semester waiting for visa to be issued.

The only question which I need to ask is there any certain news or information that when the Australian Embassy will start issuing Visas to the Pakistani Students?

Thank You.

I am part of a Latin-American student group worried about the actual situation due the COVID-19 pandemic, we all share the same dream, studying in one of the best countries in the world, well known for its high quality education system, in order to expand our academic and employment projections in our countries. In this moment, we all have approved visas (Subclass 500) to enter to Australia but, due the pandemic we haven't been able to travel yet, the time is still passing by and running out, some of us are facing the risk to lose our visas in August, September, October or November, without being able to enter to the country.
I really appreciate if you can provide any kind of information about the border restrictions for international students, it´s possible for us to enter to Australia in this moment?, or when it will be possible?, what is going to happen with our visas, are they going to be automatically extended or do we need to apply for a new one?.

Kind regards for your attention

Hi, just wondering what, if anything, I can do to gain a compassionate visa (or similar) to be allowed a 4 to 6 week-long visit to my long-distance partner in the UK? I’m a final-year medical student due to start a medical internship January 2021 under the employment of Queensland Health, and my rationale is that it is an impactful hardship to be physically separated from one’s partner for a long-drawn and indefinite amount of time, and to not have that baseline level of psychosocial support, especially when one’s job is to assist with the general population’s medical management on a daily basis. I fully appreciate public health concerns but if properly self-quarantined upon return, I believe this can be done safely. Any input would be appreciated. Kind regards,

Hi,

I am one of those international student influenced by Covid-19 situation. As a result, I lost my job for almost four to five-month. I extended my study to one more semester which cost a semester living cost. I am doing an online study that not my intention for enrolling in an Australian university.
Now I am back to work and I am confused about the news. Am I entitled to work full-time or not? If not, Am I eligible to work more than 80 hours?
To clarify my condition I am working as an Event staff or Traffic controller. I am studying part-time and online. I enforced to study one more semester and I have to pay for private insurance, visa extension and etc.

Kind regards,
Alireza

Hi, I am Thao and I am an international student in Brisbane. I have completed my study now and I would like to return to my home country. However, due to current travel restrictions, I could not depart Australia and my student visa is about to expire as well. I am really worried about my circumstance and I am seeking for help with visa issue. If possible, could you advise me on what type of visa I should apply for to stay in Australia legally while waiting to return home. Thank you in advance!
